I've owned dozens of speakers, headphones, and earbuds. They all have their pros and cons, but this speaker is the first of its kind that I've tried out. The neckband speaker combines the comfort and wireless freedom of a speaker with the personal immersive sound of headphones. Some headphones (looking at you Beats!) are pretty bulky and can squeeze your head uncomfortably. And while earbuds are nice for sealing out the outside world - it can lead to sweaty ears.

The Problem with Speakers
Speakers are great if you are working in a room, but if you want to control your music you have to take the phone out of your pocket or go across the room and change it on the speaker. The sound quality/volume also diminishes the further you physically are from a speaker.
Now you can easily skip songs and control the volume for consistant sound, everywhere you go while the lightweight unit sits on your shoulders.
You'll see wearable speakers like this made by big expensive brands like JBL, Monster, Bose... but they can be almost $200! While this has a similar form, it should be considered an entry-level option in terms of sound and construction. You can't beat this price to try it out!
