    We live in Las Vegas...where summer temperatures flirt with 120 degrees!
    Our car spends a lot of time parked in the sun.
    This is the only windshield shade that really works for one person to set in or take down.
    While they need to be replaced after a season, they are dependable and all my friends now use them after riding with me.
    And I just orderede three to use as gifts!

    Lasts less than a season
    While the item does a good job of keeping my vehicle cooler, I’ve now had 3 pop where the stick meets the top. Each lasted less than a summer season.

    You take your chances.
    I bought two of these and couldn't use either one.  For the Chevy HHR, it is too tall to fit behind the visors, so impossible to keep up on the window. On my other car, the height is good, but it is too narrow to cover the whole window.

    Great Great Buy!
    I bought three of these one for each of my vehicles and we really like them a lot. I definitely would recommend these to anybody who’s looking for something other than one of those hard to maneuver window shades

    The shade car umbrella seems to do the job
    I've only usd it a couple of times, but it keeps the car cooler and is relatively easy to use.

    Very poor quality
    It works, if you repair it from the start. It came apart before I could even use it. I would not buy again.

    Very practical, not Rey durable
    My husband and I really liked the ease of using this umbrella style shade. Easy up and easy down. However, after six months of using it in the California sun, the spokes started popping out. This of course, made the shade less effective. It is really too bad, because it really did keep the car lots cooler. If it had been sturdier, we would still be using it. Back to the old style shade .

    Keeps car much cooler

    Easy install and removal
    Sun Shade umbrella works well and is easy to install and remove. The only concern is the angle of some windshields and mirror placement will limit usability. I purchased two and it did not work in my wifes trailblazer

    SOOO EASY TO USE!
    This Windshield Umbrella Buddy is SO easy to use, just open it on your dash board and pull down the visors and thats it! AND it works!! It has really made a difference in reducing the hot/heat in my car. A+

    Nice product
    I am unable to give a good rating on this as it doesnt fit in my car. I am unable to get it up to the windshield to protect and provide coolness to the inside of my vehicle. I feel it is a good product, if it fits in the vehicle.

    Car windshield umbrella
    I really love this.so easy to use. I hated those according ones. You had to get it under the rear view mirror just right, hold t while you put the visors down. Then hated t when it moved, had to readjust. I would recommend this product

    Best shade
    This little umbrella is the best shade I ever had. It covers nearly all of the windshield, yet takes no space when not in use. It can also double as a rain umbrella. It s a fantastic product.

    Poor construction
    I bought 2 of these last spring. One was defective when it arrived one spoke out of its pocket and could not be coaxed into it. I used it anyway. Neither one lasted the summer! Cheap construction! Great concept just wish it were made to be more durable!

    Bought 2 of them-1 lasted over a year, the second 6 weeks
    Bought 2 of these umbrellas. Worked very well. My first one lasted over a year. The second one lasted 6 weeks; snapped at the top of the umbrella when I opened it.

    Deceiving!
    Not as great as advertised and certainly not very practical. It is very difficult to open the umbrella and to keep it stable on the dash. I definitely regret this purchase. OP

    The Windshield Umbrella Buddy is difficult to fully open. Actually, I have yet to be able to fully open it. On the plus side, it takes up a lot less space the usual windshield cover

    Makes a BIG difference!
    This sunbrella as I call it is soooo much better than those regular sunscreens. It folds to a nice compact size and is easy to open and close. Best of all, it keeps my car a lot cooler and protected. This is my second...my grandson broke the first one.

    Very inconvenient
    Came with NO instructions and found it very difficult to open for the first time. Once I finally figured that out, it has no space for the rear view mirror nor is there anything to prop the holder on. I cant imagine it lasting more than a time or two in the window. Not at all suitable for my Honda CR-V.

    This is the BEST and EASIEST device I ve ever seen or used in 65 years of motoring! It really works and keeps our Honda CR-V cooler and protects the interior. Have a dash mat to protect while driving, but this works when parked. Great product!

    Best solution for us
    We live in a warm often hot part of the country where we need to block the sun coming into our car as best we can. We have used conventional sun screens, even one custom fit to our car, and they have always been a challenge to put in place, and even more so to put away. This umbrella-like design handles both jobs much better. It is easy to set up and folds up very compactly and stores easily under our drivers seat.

    This is a great idea to keep the sun off your dash! We live in Florida and the sun gets pretty intense. The screen we had did not fit our new van! This one is large enough to cover the entire windshield! And it folds up and back in the case I really did not think it would!

    Not good
    It doesnt unfold easily and there is no cutout for the rearview mirror. And if you do get it up to the windshield, no way to support it, at least in my Honda Accord.

    Love it! Better than anticipated!
    I ve been struggling with those cheap mylar accordion-type car window shades forever, so I figured why not try this? I couldn t beat the price. But when I got it, it was so easy to use, it stays in place you just need to flip down the visors. Really well-made and looks pretty durable. It even comes with this great little case to put it in, like you would an umbrella. Bravo!
