Mystery boxes seem to be permeating through online culture these days. But why? Why are they so popular? Is it the rush of getting more than what you bargain for? Is it the excitement of being surprised at what lies in store? Or is it simply because they’re fun?

Whatever the case may be, one thing is for certain: you bet your bottom dollar we wanted in on all the excitement!

What is a Mystery Box?

But first, what is a mystery box? A mystery box is where you purchase a package filled with items without knowing what’s inside! There’s usually themes associated, so you have a general idea what to expect, but it’s like Christmas when you receive your box filled with mystery goodies!

Yep, you read that right: junk. You see, while searching and scouring the world for killer deals on incredible, unique, and sometimes brand name home goods, there’s bound to be a few duds in the mix. But we could never throw away these products with a sound mind, so we decided to throw them all in a box and sell them to you for dirt cheap! After all, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.

Now, don’t worry, it’s not all worthless crap. You see, sometimes we stumble upon some REALLY COOL stuff that we simply can’t sell as items on the site. Sometimes deals fall through, sometimes the prices aren’t worth it, and sometimes we can’t repackage them like new after evaluating them. So, we throw ‘em in the mystery box!

For what we’re selling these for, you really are getting a bang for your buck. However, keep in mind, this is junk. There may definitely be some REALLY neat stuff in it, but it’s called the Box o’ Junk for a reason. In fact, there’s an oath that you must take by reading aloud before you buy:

1. I expect nothing beyond the number of promised items in this box.
2. I shall not whine or complain about the ITEMS I get.
3. I shall reflect on whether I might be better off just not buying a Box O' Deals/Junk.
