I have a huge mouse problem in my garage. I live across an empty field and during the winter months they just love, love, love my garage.
I had those glue traps in the corners but it broke my heart to think of the slow painful death. Plus I'm not comfortable cleaning their dead bodies up!
I've had luck in the past with some sonic repellers so when I got this sample back in November I wanted to put it to the test. I mean an LED Bulb that will last 20+ years AND a Rodent Repeller what could be better?
It works! However, the manufacturer says is it covers 400sq feet. I didn't find this to be true. In my estimation it is more like 300 but I do have higher garage ceilings.
I have a three car garage and before I put this in I had mice droppings on both sides of the garage. The side where the bulb was installed only had a couple of droppings compared to a whole bunch on the other side.
How it works is the Sonic Waves emitted from the bulb irritate rodents, causing them to leave the area. It works whether light is on or off!
